This is a beautiful Black on Black work of art by noted artist Robert Aguilar. Robert Aguilar was born in 1968 and has been actively potting since the 1970s. Robert is the nephew of Rafaelita Aguilar and he makes pottery in the Aguilar family tradition. Roberts work reflects the use of natural clays, mineral paints and traditional kiln firing.
