Description

  • This is a Navajo handcrafted Bolo Tie. The Bolo Tie features a large Gaspeite stone set in traditional sterling silver artistry. The reverse of the Bolo Tie is signed by the Navajo Artist noted as LMG and is stamped Sterling. All work is done in Sterling Silver including the Bolo Tips.

  • The Gaspeite stone and silver work measures approximately 2 inches tall by 2 inches wide at the tallest and widest points. The leather and Sterling Tips are 43 inches in overall length.

  • Gaspeite is a relatively rare mineral, found only in a few localities. It has a light green, almost apple green color and is quite unique. It contains brownish patches which give it a distinctive character.
